Is 6 years too big of an age gap?

Age differences become less significant as people get older; the difference between a 52 year old and a 58 year old is not nearly as noticeable as the difference between a 17 year old and an 11 year old. So, 6 years may not be too big of an age gap, but it does depend upon how old the two of you are.
