How do you write concisely?

First, you just write whatever you want without worrying about it.

After you've gotten the story or article written, you go back and edit. This involves cutting out any unnecessary Words, as well as checking spelling and grammar. Here are some Words that are almost always unnecessary:

• Adverbs
• Anywhere there is more than one adjective
• Long blocks of description
• Flowery or fancy Words
• Anything that does not make your plot move forward!
