The Bull Shark, like most sharks, has a countershaded colour scheme. In essense, this means that the top side of the shark is a different colour to the bottom side. What this means in terms of camouflage, is that when viewed from above, the dark colouration blends into the dark colours of the waters below the shark. And when viewed from below, the light colours of the shark's belly blend into the bright colours emanating from the sky. The shark is thus able to use this to sneak up on it's prey.
