Is a turtle the slowest animal on Earth?

there not all slow and there not the fastest thing in the world but they are still cute and they are awesome so get over it

While turtles are USUALLY slow when they walk on land, they are pretty quick and accelerated when they are swimming in the water.

my exoieriences:

believe me. once, my family and i were at the lake and we rented a Malibu boat. i was watching my brothers fish off the edge of the dock and i see this turtle (about the size of a Basketball) and a really tiny turtle and we were trying to catch them but we couldn't because they were so fast
