It all depends on the size engine. If you have the 5.7L, I HIGHLY Suggest that you let the dealer do it.
Here's why. You have to drop the skid plate. Open the Oil filter door (4 bolts) You need a special tool to remove the paper oil filter (Available ONLY through SNAP-ON) if you do it wrong it WILL leak. The Oil required is 0-5 viscosity DO NOT USE 30 weight.
Now ask me about the transmission on the 5.7 engine. Your right, there is NO dipstick. Let the Dealer do it at 100,000 miles. That's how long you let it go before servicing.
