What do you use to catch a stray horse?

Most horses are food-driven, so bribing it with a treat of grain, sugar cube, or alfalfa cubes/pellets may work instead of the more "violent" way of roping one. Make sure you keep the halter or lead rope hidden behind your back when you try to entice your Houdini to come to you to be haltered. Patience always helps too.
