What is the symbiosis of a eyebrow mites and a human?

Eyebrow mites, specifically Demodex folliculorum, are tiny arachnids that live in the hair follicles of human skin, particularly in areas like the eyebrows and eyelashes. This symbiotic relationship is generally harmless; the mites feed on dead skin cells and oils, which helps to clean the skin. In return, they benefit from a warm, nutrient-rich environment.
