What is the central conflict of the book Hatchet?

Well the pilot has a heart attack on the plane so brain is on his own. Then he tried to remember what the pilot did when he flew the plane. But the plane went out of fuel and he crashed! So he tries to find his way and home, but while he tries to find a way to do that he tries his best to survive in the wild.
