Who makes caterpillar work boots?

I just bought a pair of Caterpillar boots. The Alaska model and the shoe salesman told me that they were a department of Wolverine.

Yeh...actually the deal is that 'Wolverine Worldwide' is a footwear manufacturer that make boots for Caterpillar. They also have their own brand called 'Wolverine'. So Cat aren't really a department of Wolverine... They are just both manufactured by the same specialist company for different brands.

if your wanting to buy a pair of cat boots go to your local cat dealer they can get them alot cheaper i think i paid $62.50 compared to $110 at theisens or $120 on cat.com
