Can hand sanitizer kill lice

Hand sanitizer is not effective in killing lice. Lice are resilient parasites that require specialized treatments, such as medicated shampoos or lotions specifically designed to eliminate them. While hand sanitizer can reduce germs on the skin, it does not have the necessary ingredients to eradicate lice or their eggs (nits).
