When was League of Legends released?

League of Legends was first released on October 27th 2009. To date (August 16th, 2012), League of Legends has received periodic patches and content additions. These additions occur on what is close to a bimonthly basis. Almost all of the changes to the game can be tracked from the League of Legends Timeline (see the related links).
