When was the first fake hidden immunity idol made for survivor?

During Survivor: Gabon, the seventeenth season of Survivor which aired from September 25th, 2008 through December 14th, 2008, Robert Crowley (who eventually was named the winner of the million dollar prize) creates a very realistic looking fake hidden immunity idol.

In Episode 9 entitled "The Brains Behind Everything" Crowley was sent to Exile Island where he proceeded to follow the clues and look for the idol. After coming to the spot where the idol should have been he realizes that Sugar may already have it in her possession. Crowley is then successful in creating the first fake hidden immunity idol. Crowley plays the fake idol by passing it to Randy in Episode 10 entitled "Nothing Tastes Better Than Five Hundred Dollars" where Randy believes its real and plays it before the votes are read. Crowley's success at fabricating an idol helped save his spot in the game and eliminated Randy in his place.
