How do you remove the power steering pump on a 1997 Ford Ranger?

To remove the Power Steering pump from a 1997 Ford Ranger, first, disconnect the negative battery cable. Then, remove the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner pulley. Next, disconnect the power steering hoses and the mounting bolts securing the pump to the engine. Finally, lift the pump out of its bracket, and it should come free.
