How do you dig in Zelda phantom hourglass?

well go to east side and join two tablets then do the same at west the make the east one go south west and west one go south east then dig where they intersect apperently it should be on the corner of the road but i cant find it ive dug and dug and dug if u found it email me at

If you gig west 4 holes and then south 3 you'll find what your looking for
