It depends on what kind of snake your talking about.To take care of a snake the needs are simple for land and water snakes:Land snakes; bowl of water, find out what kind of snake it is to find out what food it eats, look up what habitat it lives in, get some outdoor decoration for your snake including a place for it to hide because your snakes needs some privacy so don't be dissappointed if you can't watch it all the time.Water snakes:do the same thing exept fill it up with water and put some land/rocks in to climb onto.
