Is the slit mouthed lady real?

Im not sure...but once, a guy found some news that years ago, there was a woman in a mask chasing children.This woman got hit by a car and died shortly after.They were shocked to see her mouth was ripped from ear to ear.They say the accident caused the slashmouth, but theres always a possibility this could be her. Some people would say, "Well either way, she's dead", but the slit mouthed woman was said to be immortal, so if that was her, the body she was 'possessing' may have died, but her spirit itself may still be roaming, possessing more people. That is, IF this legend is true.
