It's very hard to explain in Words, it may be easier to search for videos or instructional guides. But the method that works best for me is to start by ignoring the corner pieces (any individual cube that has three stickers on it) and get all the white edges (edges are individual cubes with two stickers on them). Since the edge pieces have two stickers, you'll need to make that each edge not only has the white on the side with the white center piece, but has it's other sticker on the side with that color center piece. After I get the 'white plus sign,' I move on to get the blue, green, orange, and red edge pieces. I do this by looking for any edge piece that doesn't have yellow on it on the yellow side, and moving the correct spot down temporarily, then moving the yellow side to put the non-yellow edge in the correct spot, and then move the spot back up. This process is repeated until all non-yellow edges are in the correct spot. After this, some yellow edges will be 'upside-down' so that the yellow sticker is on the green or red face. To fix this, you put it on the red (or blue, green or orange) side, replace it with another upside down yellow piece, and then replace that with the piece that goes wherever you put it. After this, you should still have the white plus signs, a yellow plus sign, and a complete row of correct edges. To get plus signs on all the other sides, you'll just have to switch a couple of yellow edges. You can still spin the yellow side without messing anything up, and you will always be able to get two sides to match up. If you hold the cube so that you're looking at the yellow side on bottom, and the two sides that need to be switched on top, you move the right side counterclockwise, yellow side clockwise, right side clockwise, the yellow side clockwise twice, the right side counterclockwise, the yellow side clockwise, the right side clockwise, and the yellow side clockwise one more time. You may have to do this twice, but then you'll be done all the edge pieces. For the corners, you can usually find a corner where one sticker is on the correct face. If you take it off that face, rotate that face so that you put it back on the correct part of that face, and then put it back, and then move the face back, you can move each individual corner to where it belongs without messing up edges.
