How do you harvest a crop in sims castaway?

There are many ways of harvesting crops. You need certain tools to harvest some specific plants however, there are some plants that you can just pick the fruit off yourself. Berry bushes, the tomato plant, the avocado tree, the pineApple plant and coconut trees do not require tools to be harvested. Many others do.
