How old do you have to be to translate a book?

I am not translotor or even writer but I believe i do a minor work of it in my country. Translator are not grouped according to age. it depends on your ability to do! if you are tilanted to do, your age doesnot matter. But generally we believe that young people with young knowledge. your mistake will be obvious. so be a translator only if you think you can do? so not your age but your ability that counts.
