The De-wormer is working if the worms are coming out right Is there a need to see the vet if there is no sign of discomfit towards the dog?

Answer to first question is that some dewormer work by paralysing the worm and thus removing the attachment to the pet"s intestinal tract.( so whole worms can be seen passed out with the stool.) second part : Not necessarily, but you have to repeat the dewormer within 15-21 days to break the life-cycle of the intestinal worms. Also repeat the fecal test and dewormer every 6 months or so.
