How is the octopus useful to humans?

It uses its funnel to shoot ink when it is in danger. Some octopi have special ink that can temporaly paralyze theyre enemys and some can only cloud up the water with it, While some others can only shoot out little blobs which they use as decoys for the predator to go after while they escape.
