Stock you can turn these things to around 5,000. I wouldn't go more than that, fully modified (drag engine) Cotton Perry launched at 10,000rpm apparentley and I am hoping to turn around 8,000 with big aluminium rods and lightweight forged pistons. Main thing with these motors is a good balancer (ATI 7")
