My J<->E dictionary says 'petenshi'(deceiver). I also found 'odokemono' and 'tawakemono,' the latter lit. meaning a 'playful person' according to the kanji.

I also know that you could probably also call someone a tanuki or kitsune as they are the tricksters of folklore.
