Mxt dv 7000 12.0 mega pixels by interpolated?

native (=best) resolution of the MXT DV7000 is 5 Megapixels camera allows interpolation to 8 and 12 Mpixels I could not see ANY difference (other than the picture files become much larger) There was a little leaflet in the box which advises strongly NOT (!) to use 8/12 Mpixel interpolation, but to stay with 5 Mpixels I agree hs
