What can you give swallows to eat if their mother is dead and they must be hand reared We dont know what to feed them other than worms.?

Worms won't work (as you've probably noticed by now), as the mother bird eats them and then regurgitates them into the chicks' mouths. Check in your area for Animal Rescue, or call your local Animal Control (the police or sherrifs will klnow this number), and ask them what to do. In the mean time, keep the animals warm but dont overheat (85F-90F or so is pretty good). Call soon -- chicks burn through lots of calories fast.
