How long before 5mgs of lexapro starts to work?

I noticed a change with 10 mg. within a couple of days. The full effect seems to be reached at about 4 weeks. So I'd say it starts to work right away. If you are very anxious or depressed you may not notice it has started because you still feel bad at times. Dont give up too soon. God Bless You
