What happened to my RC 10 Speed controller. It started smoking and smelling really bad. Is it fried should i get a new one.?

If the RC 10 speed controller started smoking and smelling really bad, it is possibly fried. It might be best to get a new one or take the controller to a hobby shop and have them take a look at it.
