Stewing before consumption is recommended, however those who prefer their Monopoly tartar should consider beginning with the money, tokens, houses and hotels, before moving on to the Chance and Community Chess cards. The board is another matter and should never be consumed raw. The board should at minimum be steamed to a temperature of no less than 140 degrees Fahrenheit and tested for tenderness.
