How many cups of fusilli pasta equals 1 pound?

There are 4 cups of dry elbow macaroni in 16 oz./1 pound. I saw some "silly" answers from people who took liquid measurements for their answer to this question.

They answered: 1 cup equals 8 oz., meaning 2 cups would be 16 oz. That is for liquids only....not dried foods. Depending on the weight of the dry food, the answer would be different for each kind of food.
