What show was it where the guy plays tricks on people like putting a burning hot fork in their desserts and also giving kids a birthday cake and then telling them they were adopted Was it SNL?

I was indeed Saturday Night Live and I think it was in the 1980s. It was some kind of Candid Camera parody which took place in a diner. They showed the fork being left on the burner and an old lady eating cheesecake. I am thinking it would have been done during the Christopher Guest years as the show went from being live to having more filmed comedy.

I only saw it once and I was quite young. I was searching for it today as it should be on streaming Netflix.

the old lady bites in...freaks out in pain ..almost falls off the diner stool.... and if you watch close the fork actually STICKS to the roof of her mouth as she reacts !!! LOLOLOL way funny ! good times... good times !
