Whats the longest you can you leave a slow cooker on for?

If it's full you can leave it on for at least 24 hours. My husband once went out of town for 3 days and returned to chicken that was well-cooked but good. If it has enough liquid nothing will happen.
Check your manual, as there may be an automatic shutoff. And make sure you put it lots of liquid.
