- Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides, require an aquarium of at least 500 gallons)
- Bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus, require an aquarium of at least 75 gallons, preferably 90 gallons)
- Black crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus, require an aquarium of at least 75 gallons)
- Redear sunfish (Lepomis microlophis, require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons, preferably larger)
- Bowfin (Amia calva, require an aquarium of at least 180 gallons)
- Yellow bullhead catfish (Ameiurus natalis, require an aquarium of at least 90 gallons)
