Is horse slaughter bad

Horse meat is a delicacy. Not that many horses are raised for food in the United States, though the meat is supposed to be fairly sweet and tasty.

The primary use for horse meat was in dog food, back when it was legal to hunt these feral beasts. The mustangs in Nevada were escaped livestock which now threaten the environment. They are an invasive species that trample vegetation and foul springs used by native species. They are a nuisance, and should be used for dog food.

Other than that, horse slaughter has very little impact on us.
