How do you remove the battery on a 2001 Honda Shadow Ace VT 750 CD?

Open the seat lock with the bike's key and lift the seat up and remove it. Battery cover is right behind the gas tank. Remove cover by sliding it out of housing. With a Phillips screwdriver loosen both main wires from battery terminals starting with the negative one. Then remove the rubber brace holding the battery in place. You can now lift it out.
