Are Christmas trees bad for parrots?

It depends on your parrot's behavior.If it likes to climb,I suggest that you get a large cage and get large-medium tropical tree branches from your local pet store. Can't say about parrots, but my parakeet died after eating pine needles from our Christmas tree. are they?
