I love you can be either "Te quiero" or "Te amo".
There are two different ways to say "I love you" in Spanish.
The first is more for "I like you", or non-relationship love.
Yo te quiero.
Quiero comes from the verb "querer", which is "to want, to wish, or to love".
The second is more for a relationship (boyfriend-girlfriend, man-wife) love.
Te amo.
te amo or te quiero.
