What is the reproduction of macaws?

Scarlet macaws, like all birds, lay eggs in order to reproduce. They generally lay a clutch of 2-4 eggs, which are incubated by the female for 24-25 days. Both parents look after the baby chicks, which stay with the parents for anywhere between one and two years.
