Can you convert a 2-wheel drive vehicle into a 4-wheel drive vehicle?

Yes it is possible, but without a donor vehicle it would be very, very, expensive. Even with a donor vehicle it would be very labor intensive. My advice is forget this idea. Sell the 2wd and purchase a 4wd. Probably be cheaper in the long run and for sure less work.
