Where can I find information on how to remove a dog's surgical staples when needed?

Ideally you wouldn't remove the staples yourself - the veterinarian or vet tech would do this. The visit is pretty cheap, but this way the vet gets to take a look at the surgical site and make sure everything healed up like it was supposed to.
