Is Sonic dying out

As long there are Sonic fans and nerds like us out there, Sonic will never die. He will come close to death, probably because of Sonic Riders or Sonic '06, seen bleeding from his eyeballs and streams of blood running from his mouth from multiple punches in the face, but he will never die, he will survive and be successful.
