Why does your crested gecko turn orange?

exhibit periods throughout the day that is known as "fire up" or

"fire down" This means that the animals pigments will lighten or

darken, almost making them look like two completely different

animals from time to time. When an animal is stressed, hungry or

cold/hot, they will usually darken. When an animal is active, happy

and healthy, they will show much brighter colors.
