What is the American Frog Orchid's range?

The continental United States of America is the range of the American Frog Orchid (Habenaria viridis var. bracteata).

Specifically, the wild orchid ranges as far northeastward as Maine and as far northwestward as Washington and Alaska. It may be found growing as far southeastward as North Carolina and as far southwestward as New Mexico. In between these extremes, the wild orchid favors the states of Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, South Dakota, Utah and West Virginia.
