Why does peta not speak out about Muslims in Islamic nations and there brutal slaughter of animals called halal?

Not just in Islamic nations but all over the world. Halal/Kosher is a ritual slaughter where an animal is not stunned and killed by humane mechanical means but has it's throat cut manually and bleeds out; a process which can result in the animal taking upto 2 minutes to die. It is said there is no pain because the sudden loss of blood quickly starves the brain of oxygen. PETA will not attack the practice because there is no sensationalist advantage.
