Where is the transmission oil dipstick on a mazda bravo b4000?

just foun out it doesn't have one, there's a tube with a black cap ontop behind the steering column. I have no idea how to remove it to fill it with trans fluid.If some one has the answer can you respond.More great engineering from Ford just replaced 3rd starter motor with 120K on the clock. NEVER again will I go down this route.
