Where are Canadian Geese as pets illegal?

If they stay outside, the government or animal control can't tell they are yours. They are loving if they are raised from when they are very young. Be wary and protective of the young.

I'm not sure if it is illegal or not, but if they are roaming free outside by a pond and over 12 weeks old, just keep feeding them. If they are disabled, try to keep them indoors, for safety's sake.

Most large urban areas won't allow geese to be kept as pet. The noise and droppings pose a health hazard. You pretty much have to look at local by-laws to find out.
