Do you have to start your motorcycle once every 2 weeks to keep it from dying?

Yes it will keep all moving parts lubricated (seals, bearings, cylinders etc). If it sits too long all the oil will settle exposing items to damage. Another reason is for your battery, over time it can drain. Starting it will allow the alternator to keep the battery charged. Every two weeks maybe a little excessive, but it wouldn't hurt. You should also let in run for a few minutes each time.
