Why does McDonald's Have a Kitchen if they don't make their own food?

Well they prepare the food in their kitchens, the same way most of us do. Like I'll make a sandwich in my kitchen but that doesn't mean I made the churned the butter and baked the bread in there.

Similarly, McDonalds receives components for what they serve - which are put together and cooked in the kitchen.
