How do you defend your home from the loud Macaw of your neighbor?

Most communities like ours, Miami, have ordinances against loud noise. If a bird can be heard more than 500 feet away from the property, it is an arrestable offense. Talk to your Police Dept. but they will probably ask you to call the Animal Control Dept. Good luck, we have this problem with our neighbors. The bird wakes us up at 7 AM.
