What is the exposition of the book The Last Song?

Nicholas Sparks wrote the book using the 3rd point of view meaning he wrote,

"Ronnie and her dad talked..."

Stuff like that.

Each chapter was written with different points of view. Steve, Ronnie, and Will. But it was never directly their own individual point of view because that would be first person.
