How do you adopt a dog on Nintendogs?

well firstly you have to have less than three dogs at home when you go to adopt the dog. Click 'go out' and then click 'shopping', there are five selections in 'shopping' so click 'kennel' in the middle of the five selections. once you are in the kennel press 'buy' or 'adopt' or whatever. Do not press 'look'. Now you are in the part where you select whatever breed you want, select your colour and buy it, but make sure you have enough money! They cost about $600.00.
